They’re all based in the U.S., which means making the list is a pretty big honor.
This year, it’s Natran’s turn! Coming in at number 3,789, Natran Green Pest Control has been named one of the top 5,000 privately-held companies by Inc. This is a huge honor to be among other innovative companies, and we’re grateful to those who recognized our hard work and success.

The history of Natran Green Pest Control
Natran was first founded in 2006 by Gordon Doran. The idea for the company sparked when he and his wife were looking to hire a pest control service to treat their own home. As they looked through listing after listing, they just couldn’t find someone who could treat their home with botanical-based products and without using harsh chemicals that would hurt their family and the planet.
And with that, the idea was born. Doran and his wife decided to start the very first green pest control service in Houston — Natran Green Pest Control. We wanted to spread the word of living green throughout the city, and in Houston, we’ve found plenty of like-minded residents and businesses looking to rid their homes and businesses of pests without harming the environment or the others nearby.
Over the years, we’ve learned that innovation is our best tool for success. At Natran, we look to the companies that can before us, what they’re doing and how to maybe do things just a little bit better. We’re always on the lookout for new methods of green pest control and how to work better to deliver better services.
We know in Houston there are a lot people who committed to the earth, just like we are. In office, we reduce, reuse and recycle as much as possible, and on the job, we use chemicals that are safe for your family members, pets and employees.

We’re also looking for new ways to grow and expand our business. That’s why we’re excited to announce that we plan to expand into Austin starting in January 2020. We know the people of Austin feel just as strongly about protecting the earth as we do in Houston, and we’re sure that just like any other part of Texas, Austin has its fair share of rats, cockroaches, spiders and other pests. Of course, we won’t lose our focus in Houston and Dallas. As the summer winds down, we know that the fall crawl is expected to begin soon.
